F.P. Duffy, Inc. was established in Paterson, NJ, in 1930 by Frederick Patrick Duffy. Originally, he collected used wooden crates from the local textile mills. The crates would then be repaired and sold to secondary markets. When the packaging industry changed over to cardboard, so did we. Today, F.P. Duffy, Inc. and Duffy Box & Recycling, Inc. operate multiple locations and service companies east of the Mississippi directly. We use common carriers for the remaining parts of the country. F.P. Duffy is now run by Frederick D. Moran and his sons: Fred, Brian, Daniel and Fain Moran. This fourth generation company has expanded into Recycling and Resource Recovery.
