It was founded in 1993 as FTR Pty Ltd in Perth, Western Australia as a wholly-owned subsidiary of the WebCentral Group Limited, a public company listed on the Australian Stock Exchange (symbol: ASX:WCG). FTR Limited is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FTR Pty Ltd, and was founded in FTR got its start by selling and installing digital audio recording solutions in courtrooms and hearing rooms, and has gradually diversified into other related markets such as legislatures and parliaments, councils, boards and commissions at all levels of government, law enforcement agencies, and educational institutions. Today, FTR sells its products in over 30 countries through a global network of systems integrators (SI) and value added resellers (VAR’s).With over 13,000 systems installed worldwide, FTR's mission is to provide customers with easy to use, reliable, cost effective and innovative solutions and components that capture, access, manage archive and distribute digital audio records.
