Founded in 2001, FYI Public Relations is a boutique firm specializing in combining and creating the trends of consumer products, entertainment and pop culture. We encompass a range of divisions including luxury jewelry brands, sportswear and specialty fashion brands, celebrities and non profit organizations. We have the same resources of a large agency but the ability to provide detailed attention to our clients; at our firm we specialize in staying in on the cusp of all things pop culture. While attending and graduating with a bachelors of arts in media and communications from Hunter College, Brook utilized her strong corporate and media contacts in the music, entertainment and fashion industries, to consulting in marketing and publicity in addition to specializing in celebrity brand partnerships and affiliations. This lead to a position at Gale Group, a prominent Public Relations and Advertising firm, as a new business and account executive, working first hand in publicity, marketing and advertising with Avirex, Blue Q, L'Anza, Jump Apparel, K-Swiss, and Squeez'r beverages, in addition to national advertising campaigns with Bambini Soul, Avirex, and K-Swiss. After two years at Gale Group, in 2001 Brook followed her entrepreneurial spirit and launched FYI Public Relations, a full service boutique public relations a marketing firm specializing in the fashion, accessories, beauty and consumer product, non profit and entertainment and talent categories.
