Description

Factory Systems, LLC provides Statistical Process Control (SPC) in the form of data acquisition and analysis hardware, software and networked host systems. Formed in 1978 as Industrial Microsystems Inc. (IMI), engineers worked closely with a group of practicing process engineers to design rugged, extremely flexible industrial computers for data acquisition and SPC analysis including Six Sigma reporting. Gauge interfaces were added for Federal and Mitutoyo digital gauges, Heidenhain Glass Scale, LVDT, analog signals, and RS-232 datastreams. The Host system software was created, providing networked administration and data management. In 1990, IMI was acquired by a firm and renamed Metrscope with sales distribution through it's sister company Factory Systems, LLC. A second-generation workstation was also added, called the Workstation II. The Workstation II remained Metrscope's flagship product until Factory Systems introduced the smaller and even more versatile, third generation system called CimStat Factory WorkStation. This new industrial computer, complete with touchscreen has established a new level of quality, automation and versatility to factory floor data acquisition and Six Sigma reporting.
