The Surgical Services Department of Fairmont General Hospital offers a variety of surgery options in a modern, state-of-the-art surgical suite. Our staff consists of caring and compassionate surgeons, anesthesiologists, registered nurses, and other medical professionals trained to provide expert surgical care. Emergency surgeries are available 7 days a week, 24 hours a day.

Yes, Fairmont General Hospital is dedicated to helping you receive full benefits from your insurance provider. You will be asked to provide complete insurance information upon registration. Be sure you have a copy of your insurance cards at that time. As a service to you, we will submit secondary claims along with required EOBs to your insurance provider. However, if your insurance provider doesn't make payment within 60 days, we will ask you to pay the amount owed.

The Volunteer Association is a diverse group of men and women who support the mission of Fairmont General Hospital by providing voluntary services to patients and staff of the hospital, funds for purchase of equipment and other items that provide quality care, and opportunities to learn about the services and needs of the hospital and to communicate these to the community.
