This diverse project involved making changes that not only enhanced the current design of the home but created modern design elements as well. A wall was opened between the living room and dining room to allow the homeowners to entertain their guests in a roomy and inviting space. A new granite counter was created for serving or display between the two rooms, new hardwood floors were added, as well as a new paint scheme to finish off the space. Two hand woven Nepalese area rugs now enhance both the dining room and kitchen tables. A custom designed handrail was built to compliment the staircase which leads to the stylish master suite. New carpet, paint and wood blinds adorn the bedroom, while a new custom walk in shower was constructed to replace the outdated soaker tub that was never used. A soft gray and green color scheme sets the stage for a relaxing space, and essential new shelving and cabinets were added to meet their storage needs.
