The History of Falcon Rice Since 1942, the name Falcon has been synonymous with the rice industry of South Louisiana. Originally, the company dealt only in seed rice. In the fall, Edward and Evelyn Falcon purchased rough rice from area farmers, then cleaned, treated, and resold it for seed in the spring.
