We are a unique, NO KILL, alternative shelter that specializes in canine adoptions. There are no dog runs or kennels here. We offer a warm, home type environment for both our canine residents and our potential adopters. From the time you enter our cozy Lobby to until the time you take your new friend home you will find adopting a dog from our shelter to be a very pleasant and relaxing process. There is no way to walk through our shelter and view all of our dogs. We are extremely unique in that we do not house our dogs in kennels or dog runs but in large play yards and playrooms so that they can interact and play all day long. This alleviates stress, encourages socialization and gives us a much better insight into the personality of each dog. We do not do temperament testing, but observe our dogs interacting with one another and determine the type of placement they should receive as a result of these observations. We do cat test all our dogs as well as crate train them.
