Since Family Vision Care Associates (FVCA) was founded in 1960, we have been recognized as a leader in Contact Lens care and innovation in greater Westchester county, NY, and Fairfield county, CT.

In addition to being a general optometrist for FVCA, I am also a developmental optometrist (also referred to as a behavioral optometrist) - an optometrist who has advanced training and been Board Certified to provide Vision Therapy services. Our primary goal at The Bernstein Center is to help our patients (and their family) identify and understand their vision problems - set realistic goals and expectations - and provide the services or referrals necessary to achieve these goals.

During comprehensive eye exams we assess eye health and refractive status (near-sightedness, far-sightedness, etc.). It is possible that even if each eye has "perfect 20/20 vision," the two eyes may have significant difficulty working together (a binocular dysfunction) which can result in blurred vision, double vision, eyestrain, headaches, reading avoidance and poor depth perception. Our optician/concierge, Toni, is a nationally accredited optician who delivers "concierge" style services at The Optical Shoppe. You may call and arrange an appointment (with or without an eye exam), and the Shoppe will always maintain a current record of your eye prescription. We stock a full line of fashion and everyday eyewear, and use only the finest optics in every pair of glasses we sell. Despite our concierge level of service, we also price our products to be competitive with big box optical stores. We invite you to call, email, or just stop in.
