Welcome to Fancy Feet's 4th year of Company. This program provides our most dedicated and serious dancers at Fancy Feet an opportunity to work with various teachers and choreographers in Intensive Master Class Workshops. Teachers will work with Company students one Saturday (and occasionally Sundays) monthly for 3-4 hours at a time, working to complete pieces while exposing students to many different styles of dance.In addition to the existing Performance Group Schedule, Company will have other performance opportunities, including conventions and various professional opportunities. Company dancers will also be featured throughout the year in various Fancy Feet performances.Company will require additional rehearsal and performance time, not just in the master class weekends, but with Emily while preparing for additional events.This year students invited into Company will be placed into technical divisions based on ability. This placement will occur during their first class workshop in early October. Eligible Company candidates will include members of the (12-14) and (15-up) Performance Groups, with at least 5 years of dance experience. Class requirements will include 6 total classes: Performance Group Class, Company Workshop Saturday Class (to be scheduled by the session), ballet, modern, and two other classes approved by Emily.In order to be considered for Company, please fill out and return the bottom portion of this application by September 6, 2009.
