Description

The Marketing Department was formed to give producers an alternative market for their commodities and maintain competition in the marketplace. When Georgia Farm Bureau established the Marketing Association in 1964, our goal was to help producers receive the best possible price for their commodities. Today, our goal has not changed. Simply put, our effort is to benefit our producer member and improve their net farm income while easing their marketing burden.

The program, "Futures At A Glance", is available to any GFB member. We provide daily futures information for the spot and harvest months on cotton, corn, wheat, soybeans and feeder cattle. You get the opening, midday and closing prices for these markets delivered right to your phone.

Through our Certified Farm Market program, Georgia Farm Bureau has created a network of nearly 100 markets across the state to provide consumers the freshest, most delicious locally grown products available. With so many markets in the program, there’s sure to be one close to you, no matter where you might be in Georgia.

The Marketing Department offers marketing programs for grain and feed ingredients. We provide daily market information through our GFB Commodity Farmline Report. The Commodity Farm Line Report offers closing futures quotes on grains, cotton, livestock, and commodity news & information. You can access this service by calling toll free at (866) GFB-FARM or (866) 432-3276.
