INTRODUCTION Farmacopia LLC of Sonoma County, California was formed with the purpose of providing health practitioners and the general public, the highest quality herbal and nutrient products available at the lowest possible prices. Farmacopia is also dedicated to the study of these products, including their manufacturing criteria, medical application, and basic and clinical research experience. The new era of integration of herbs and supplements into general medical care requires health care professionals, as well as the public, to familiarize themselves with the nature, application, side effects and potential drug interactions of these products in healthy as well as ill individuals. There is abundant literature on most of these products, appearing in American and foreign journals. Farmacopia feels strongly about providing the practitioner, and consumer, access to the best available information on the usage of each product.
