In 1985, Kevin Farmer came to the Cape Girardeau area. As an experienced builder and pool installer, he started installing above ground pools and building custom decks under the business name of Farmer's Construction. Soon, he became the primary above ground pool installer for most of the pool retailers in the area and started building inground pools as well. By listening to customers, he learned that they preferred to purchase all their pool products and have them professionally installed, serviced and maintained from one source.
