FARRMS was founded in 2000 to address specific educational needs of organic producers and processors and to promote sustainable rural development in the Medina community and beyond.

FARRMS wants to help link crop producers with other experienced organic crop producers who are willing to answer questions through phone calls or emails.

FARRMS is linking producers to other experienced sustainable and organic producers willing to answer questions by phone or through emails. Our "organic mentors" have a wide variety of expertise listed in the individual's description.

Keith is a retired veg producer who sold produce at Farmers Market. With his many years of hands on experience, Keith can answer questions on all aspects of veg production, mulching, harvesting of vegetables, and marketing . He also has experience with greenhouses. Keith is an organic inspector and can answer questions on organic paperwork and organic standards.

The Central North Dakota Pastured Poultry Institute (CNDPPI)located in Wimbledon ND, is a group of farmers, lead by Linda Grotberg, working together to teach and train others to raise pastured poultry. Pastured poultry is a means for farm families, retired folk, homesteaders, hobby farmers, and 4-H'ers to provide and improve food security, to increase and maintain farm sustainability, and to increase sustainability of rural communities.
