Fastemp Glass is a privately held company founded in 1981 in Newport, KY, just across the Ohio River from Cincinnati. We stock more than 30 different types and sizes of glass, from clear to colored and patterned. Our furnace allows us to temper glass from 1/8” to 1/4” thick. At Fastemp , we combine knowledge, technology and experience to produce a quality product at competitive prices. Our best attribute, however, is a commitment to customer satisfaction. It is the principle on which the company was founded and something we strive to uphold every day.

Whether you are trying to hide the ballast of a light fixture or create a unique visual punch, a silk-screened product may be just what you are looking for. We take ground glass and a coloring agent to “paint’’ the pattern. The lead-free frit is actually baked into your glass during the tempering process so you do not have to worry about chipping or flaking. Current colors include black, red, white and blue, but we can work with you to develop a color that meets your needs.
