As a part of the Farm Credit System, established nearly 100 years ago, Alabama Ag Credit is dedicated to financing agriculture and rural Alabama, and we focus all our time, energy and expertise doing it. That’s our only business. We don’t run when farm income drops; we work with our customers and try to get them through difficult times.

As a cooperative, Alabama Ag Credit is owned by its customers, who in turn share in our financial success. Since 1996, Alabama Ag Credit has distributed almost $35,823,878 million in dividends, stock reductions and patronage refunds to our customers. These capital distributions reduce the effective interest rate paid by our customers.

Alabama Ag Credit offers a New Generation Loan Program to meet the financial needs of farmers who are just getting started or who are running small operations. This program offers a specialized loan package for farmers or producers to buy land and begin or continue an operation in an agriculture or aquatic field.

More than an investment, your rural land can be your own private playground. Alabama Ag Credit understands the goals of our customers and the decisions involved in purchasing land in the country. If you choose to build on your land, we'll roll your construction and real estate loan into one easy mortgage, at terms that meet your personal needs. And you can choose from a variable- or fixed-rate loan.

Through the sponsorship the Alabama FFA Association was able to provide nationally-known speakers and increase participation in competitions known as Career Development Events. State leaders were also able to incorporate state-of-the-art staging and lighting, creating an unforgettable experience for FFA members, advisors and guests.
