To proactively serve our community by providing public education, public service programs, and protecting life and property from fire, medical emergencies, hazardous materials, and natural disasters to the best of our ability. Utilizing all of the resources available to us, we will strive to provide the highest quality of services, by building a team of people who will develop and maintain a quality and service oriented attitude that will lead the Festus Fire Department in providing a safe and suitable community for all.

Our Mission will only be fulfilled in an atmosphere that is responsive to our members and seeks their involvement in problem solving. As we strive to develop each officer through training, we will hold ourselves accountable for our actions and take pride in providing a professional level of service.

The City of Festus is only one-mile from Jefferson Regional Medical Center, the only hospital in Jefferson County. The hospital is a full-service, acute care facility.
