When you install a roof, one of the most important things to remember is that from the day the roof is installed, it starts weathering. Regardless of whatever you put on that roof, there is a deteriorating process that takes place. All roofs require attention from time to time. All roofs should be constructed so that they drain properly. Unfortunately, many do not. So the result is ponding water that sits in certain areas on the roof most of the year. This in turn causes more rapid deterioration than normal. Therefore, these roofs need more attention than a roof that drains properly.

Fields Roof Service was started in 1957 by Larry Fields. Larry's vision was to provide customers with a means to prolong the lives of their roofs; and he provided that 'service' to clients in the extreme temperature ranges of Eastern and Western Washington. In the late 70's, Larry passed the business down to the salesmen/installers that had kept his business successful. Over the previous years, Larry had the vision to hire school teachers and college students during the summers to facilitate roof installations.

Fields Roof Service, Inc. specializes in the installation of roof systems for commercial, industrial and multi-family buildings. We have been in the roof installation and maintenance business for over 50 years. FRS is certified to install built-up roofing systems; using ambient asphalt or emulsions with high strength polyester and fiberglass. We specialize in modified bitumen (torchdown) systems and Single-Ply Systems (TPO and PVC membranes). FRS can provide written guarantees from a couple years to decades depending on the roof system applied.

FRS has experience on both large and small projects. We have performed work on numerous churches, educational institutions, multi-family complexes and industrial facilities.
