Finfrock Engineering

Debbie J. Finfrock, P.E., CHMM, has over 25 years of engineering experience. She is a licensed Professional Engineer (P.E.) in the State of New Mexico and a Certified Hazardous Materials Manager (CHMM). She currently serves as a Treasurer for the New Mexico Society of Hazardous Materials Managers, which is the Roadrunner Chapter of the Academy of Certified Hazardous Materials Managers. Ms. Finfrock earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering with high distinction from the University of Kentucky in 1981. She worked as a mechanical engineer in various production plants and technical facilities for Dupont for eight years. Ms. Finfrock earned her Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering with Environmental Emphasis from the University of New Mexico in 1992. Although her studies concentrated on water and wastewater, after graduation she was sucked into the wonderful world of waste - and you thought www stood for the world-wide web! She has worked at Los Alamos National Laboratory and within the Department of Energy (DOE) complex for over 15 years. Ms. Finfrock has experience designing evapotranspiration covers for landfill closures. She has detailed training and experience in RCRA hazardous waste and radioactive waste management, stormwater management and erosion control, pollution prevention (P2), and ISO 14001 environmental management systems. Her experience at Dupont constituted excellent safety training for industrial and construction sites.
