We’re proud to be part of the Lincoln business community, and proud to restate what our mission has been from the start: to cultivate your garden success.Our history extends back two generations of the Finke family to 1965, when Plantland, a lawn and garden center co-owned by Richard W. Finke, opened at 500 N. 66 th Street. Plantland retail eventually became Lincoln Ag-Products wholesale owned by W. Richard “Dick” and the late Patty Finke at 445 N. 66 th Street.Finke Gardens & Nursery began as a landscape design/installation business in 1988 from the home of Rich and Luann Finke. In 1995, we came full circle by opening a retail store operation at the former Plantland location, 500 N. 66 th Street, with a small inventory of container trees and shrubs, two greenhouses and six employees.
