With his actuarial background, Rich brings strong quantitative skills to the assessment of the costs of health care plans, and a realistic assessment of expected cost increases. Rich has worked with clients to quantify the costs of their programs, identify the root causes of costs, and design strategic approaches for addressing cost increases and providing valuable benefits to employees. He is an avid client advocate in negotiating with vendors, and his understanding of the underwriting techniques employed by carriers has enabled him to deliver significant cost reductions for his clients.

Dewey Dennis is an actuary and a principal member of FACT. Having worked in large actuarial consulting firms from 1984 through 2002, Dewey provides extensive experience assisting clients with many aspects of design, administration and funding of their benefit programs. Dewey's large firm experience along with his ability to now provide small firm attentiveness is a very good combination of attributes to bring to your Fund. His responsibilities include direct client consulting and the management of a team dedicated to providing all types of actuarial services to our clients.

Jason Ahl is a consulting actuary with over 15 years of experience in consulting on issues related to qualified and non-qualified pension plans, medical, dental, and life insurance plans. His experience includes ERISA funding, accounting under FAS 35, 87, 88, 106, 112, and 132, SOP92-6 and SOP01-2, international accounting under FRS17 and IAS19, plan design, mergers and acquisitions, divestitures, early retirement windows, withdrawal liability calculations, and union negotiations.

Richard Murdock is an actuary and group and health care benefits professional. He has worked as an actuary for major insurers and for the last 25 years he has been a benefits consultant. He has over 35 years of experience in the design, financing, and management of group benefit programs.
