First Allied Securities, Inc. was founded in 1994 as a privately held company with a vision of providing independent financial consultants with cutting edge technology, innovative products, and superior service. Our goal has always been to partner with those financial consultants who represent the best in the industry and now, with approximately 500 financial consultants and 190 branches across the United States, First Allied is fast becoming recognized as the premier broker-dealer for successful, high producing independent financial consultants.To assist us in realizing our vision, we partnered with Wells Fargo & Company in July 2002 as a non-bank affiliate. In January of 2005, Advanced Equities Financial Corporation, a Chicago-based investment banking firm purchased First Allied. While we have maintained a strong research, product and clearing relationship with Wells Fargo, as an Advanced Equities company we can offer our financial consultants an even wider-range of financial services and products, including the opportunity to participate in private equity investments and initial public offerings. Through our affiliations, we have grown as a company and expanded our presence as one of the nation’s leading independent broker dealers.As we move forward, we will continue supporting our financial consultants as they work to help their clients achieve their financial goals.
