First Bank & Trust was originally chartered in 1883 to be a full service community bank. Many changes have occurred since then but the bank still remains committed to the communities they serve and has maintained its local independent ownership. The bank also opened a full service branch in Clay Center Nebraska in 1996 and previously had a branch in Saronville Nebraska. These two branches were consolidated into Clay Center in 1998. At First Bank & Trust our mission statement is "To provide premiere financial services through high quality employees to return maximum profits." How do we achieve this and what makes the difference?
