We have sought to make our services convenient through multiple locations in Charlotte and the surrounding area. We also seek to do this by having an open door policy, where no appointment is needed. Our goal is to meet the healthcare needs of every patient that walks through the doors of any First Care Medical Clinic location, whether you have an appointment or not.

Dr. Nadia Ibrahim attended medical school at Alexandria University, Egypt where she graduated in 1967. She completed her Pediatric residency at The Children Hospital and Mount Carmel Mercy Hospital, both located in Detroit, MI. She was certified by the American Board of Pediatrics in 1979. Dr. Ibrahim practiced Pediatric medicine for the United States Army for 25 years and retired from the Army in January 2002 with the rank of Colonel. Dr. Ibrahim has over 30 years of experience in Pediatrics.

First Care Medical Clinic was founded in 1994 in Monroe, NC by Dr. Benedict Okwara. As a result of Dr. Okwara's emergency room experience he realized that many of the patients that frequented the emergency room could be well managed in a well equiped out-patient setting with better outcomes and at a lower cost to the patient. Dr. Okwara opened his first office in 1994 and over the past 15 years First Care Medical Clinic has grown to six locations providing over 35,000 patient visits a year.

First Care Medical Clinic understands that your most prized possession is your children. That is why we have assembled a pediatric staff that has over 30 years of combined experience. From infant immunizations to sports physicals, First Care Medical Clinic is here to provide preventive healthcare, treatment of childhood illnesses and injuries, and to address developmental issues.

He received his medical training at Touro College in New York and graduated in 1987.Alexis Benjamin recently relocated to North Carolina and has joined the group of outstanding professionals at First Care Medical Clinic.With over 20 years experience in the medical field,he is committed to providing the community excellent healthcare that makes a difference and improves lives.
