First Home Inspection has been providing inspection services to East Central Illinois and West Central Indiana since 1997 and is Vermilion County's oldest inspection service. You deal directly with the owner, David Biggerstaff, who has inspected over 3,000 properties and has a remodeling & construction background spanning 20 years that includes: renovating and selling 15 individual properties along with experience as a real estate appraiser, landlord, firefighter, and the proud owner of his personal residence that was built in 1902. As part of the inspection process, you will receive a comprehensive computer generated written report that includes color pictures. The report also has narrative explanations if needed to help explain things, you don't just receive a report full of checked boxes. And for your convienience, the report can easily be emailed to you in pdf format typically the next day. First Home Inspection offers several payment options. A discount is availble for payments made the day of the inspection. You may also use PayPal. And if arranged ahead of time, payment may be made at the time of closing so you don't have to have money at the time of the inspection. Certain restrictions apply so please call for details.
