Description

Here at First Parish we provide a loving and inclusive spiritual home for our children, youth and families. We strive to provide a community where all feel welcome and valued for the gifts they bring and the people they are. All types of families are invited here to question, shape their beliefs, live their values, and celebrate their discoveries. Although our paths may be diverse, we share the journey.

Our goals are to nurture the hearts, minds and spirits of our children and families. We provide a safe, nurturing environment where each individual is respected for who they are. We value each child's quest for truth and cultivate acceptance of one another's truths. We encourage thinking, questioning, listening, perceiving and sharing. In our groups and classes, we uphold democratic process and emphasize fair treatment.

The piano was made by Mason & Hamlin, a well-known Massachusetts manufacturer of fine pianos. Most recently our sanctuary has welcomed a French Double Harpsichord , manufactured by Eric Herz Harpsichords of Cambridge, Massachusetts.
