Mr. Shelton, who has over 32 years in community banking, started his career in 1969 with First National Bank of Oregon in Portland, OR. He then spent 19 years with Washington Trust Bank in Spokane, WA, where he served at Senior Vice President & Manager of the Commercial Banking Division & Chief Lending Officer. In 1997, he joined Frontier Bank, headquartered in Everett, WA, where he was eventually promoted to Senior Vice President & Manager of the Western Region.
