FirstDay Federal Credit Union is a full-service financial cooperative, dedicated to serving its membership since 1935. FirstDay was founded in 1935 - during the Great Depression. We have helped our members weather many a cloudy day, and you can count on us to keep doing the same thing for generations to come.

The NCUA was founded in 1934 to encourage saving and lending through credit unions. The NCUA insures all deposits at FirstDay up to $250,000, and higher for retirement accounts. In addition, insurance on member share (deposit) accounts of up to $250,000 is provided by Excess Share Insurance Corporation (ESI), a licensed insurance company.

FirstDay offers you tailor-made banking, with checking accounts, special savings products and a variety of loans to meet every need. Plus the convenience of electronic banking, ATM banking and phone banking. It's a new day... and we're here to help you in new ways.

FirstDay Federal Credit Union was founded in 1935 as the Dayton Area Teachers Federal Credit Union to serve educators in and around the Dayton area Public School District. The five offices have 37 employees that serve over 8,000 members.
