Our litigation attorneys are experienced in commercial litigation, estates and trusts disputes, intellectual property disputes, white collar criminal defense, complex personal injury matters, employment law matters, professional malpractice, and professional licensing and disciplinary proceedings, including decades of defending attorneys before the Attorney Grievance Commission.

Ms. Young graduated from Duquesne University with a Bachelor’s of Science in Health Sciences in 1999 and earned her Master’s of Physician Assistant in 2000. Prior to entering the practice of law, Ms. Young enjoyed a career in healthcare and brings to Fisher & Winner a long-standing commitment to client-centered service founded in years of providing outstanding patient care in neurosurgery and chronic pain management.

We provide services to physicians and other health care practitioners in employment matters, business transactions, sales, purchases, mergers, organizational formation, restructuring and dissolution, joint ventures and integration with managed care systems. The Firm's ongoing representation of its health care clientele regularly includes advice on, and negotiation and preparation of, health care provider employment and independent contractor agreements, space and equipment leases, time-share agreements and managed care agreements.

Mr. Smith is the Reporter for the Maryland Court of Appeals Commission on Professionalism and for the Maryland State Bar Association Long Range Planning Committee, chaired by the Honorable Lynne A. Battaglia. For over 15 years, he has been an adjunct faculty member at the University of Baltimore School of Law. Mr. Smith serves on the Editorial Advisory Board of the Maryland Daily Record; he is a member of the Wranglers Law Club; and a Fellow of the Maryland Bar Foundation.
