Mr. Gillespie has over 13 years of experience in the medical instrument and device industry involving conceptual design, product development, prototyping and production design. He is well versed in conventional machining processes and rapid prototyping techniques. He has experience with state of the art materials and related fabrication processes, construction of anatomical models, laboratory and testing equipment, and designing experiments. Additionally, he is familiar with computer based analytical tools for the purpose of design and verification.

Mr. Simpson has 38 years of experience in the medical device industry including administrative and senior level management experience as well as having been a co-founder or board member of several start-up ventures. He is experienced in all phases of the product development process, including conceptual design, intellectual property, and production design. He has developed and/or managed the development of mechanical, optical, electronic, and software products, and has particular expertise in rapid product development, reduced time to market, and cost reduction.

He has worked for major medical companies and has experience starting up his own equipment development company making production equipment for domestic and overseas medical manufacturers including automated sterile fill systems.

Dave has over 34 years of experience in the medical instrument and device industry involving product development, engineering management, design engineering, and manufacturing. He specializes in the conceptual design of medical devices, medical device delivery systems, and the creation of intellectual property. To date, Dave has cofounded or facilitated the founding of nine startups.

Greg’ medical device experience began in his graduate degree program where his research into blood substitutes was funded by Baxter Healthcare. He has a wide industry experience as a development engineer and in management positions in Quality, Manufacturing, R&D and Business Development across several different medical markets. He has frequently been on hand with the clinician using the first clinical study devices and has worked with both domestic and international new ventures.
