Founded in 1936 in York, Pennsylvania, The Flinchbaugh Company established a reputation for providing quality machined parts and job shop services to the United States military and many leading private sector manufacturers, including BAE Systems, York-Johnson Controls, and Volvo/Mack Truck, among many others. The company expanded in 2005 following acquisition by only its third generation of ownership. At the end of 2006, The Flinchbaugh Company made a strategic purchase of G. Kurtz Industries ? another high-quality machining company and job shop in York County, PA. This created the new company ? doing business as Flinchbaugh-Kurtz Company, based at a modern facility in Manchester, Pennsylvania.
