Then came the grinding service, Flint Centerless Grinding, Inc. established in 1959 by Harold's son James Aseltine. Now outsourcing of grinding was no longer needed. In 1976 Mark Blevins, son of Pat & Wayne, took over operations of Extreme Precision Screw Products due to the death of Howard Aseltine and so began the second generation. In 1985 Bruce Blevins, son of Pat & Wayne took over operations of Blevins Screw Products. As time went on the family grew as did the businesses. In 1983 Pat & Wayne's son Roger Blevins acquired Borneman & Peterson Screw Products located just a block down the street. Once again ousourcing of gun drilling was necessary and so Brian Aseltine, son of James began Superior Gun Drilling in 1986. In 1995 Tom & Janet Allen, daughter of James, took over operations of Flint Centerless Grinding. Another local screw machine business was up for sale, so Jerry Hobson, nephew to Wayne Blevins took over operations in 1989 of Hobson Manufacturing in Atlas, MI. We share...
