Located in the heart of swinging East Arlington, Massachusetts, flora restaurant has been a favored local dining destination since 1996. The restaurant is located in renovated Arlington Five Cent Savings Bank - a 1920's brick and granite exterior with dramatic barrel vaulted ceiling, two story windows and original mahogany vestibule. Simple, heartfelt foods cooked with a focus on nourishment and sensual pleasure are the essence of flora. Chef Bob Sargent creates menus that draw on both American classics and the French and Italian influences of his professional training featuring fresh vegetables, grains, and local foods, especially seafood and farm products. Did you ever wonder where the name flora comes from? It's Mary Jo's mother's name -who is a great example of providing a welcoming home and festive meals to all who come to her door!
