Box 41 Florham Park, NJ 07932 MOTORCYCLE POKER RUN PICNIC & PIG ROAST FUNDRAISER Enjoy the ride of approximately 75 miles through beautiful scenic Morris County, NJ Saturday May 9th Swim & Sport Club 272 Emmans Road Flanders, NJ Rider Check-in: 10 am – 12 pm Picnic & Pig Roast: 1 pm - 4 pm ---Thank you to our Platinum Sponsors--- EVENT DESCRIPTION: Rumble With Rotary is a motorcycle “Poker Run” type ride followed by a picnic and pig roast. The Rotary Clubs of Florham Park & Rockaway are hosting the event and all proceeds will benefit the clubs’ charitable projects. Motorcycle enthusiasts and non-riders (adults, children, family and friends) are invited to attend the picnic, pig roast and all of the festivities. Riders and non-riders may pre-register, or register the day of the event. All pre-registered participants will receive an event t-shirt that lists all event sponsors. A registration fee is required to participate in the ride, picnic and pig roast events. LOCATION & TIME: The motorcycle ride will start at Swim & Sport Club, 272 Emmans Road, Flanders, NJ. The picnic and pig roast will follow the ride at the Swim & Sport Club ,272 Emmans Road, Flanders, NJ. Motorcycle riders and passengers should arrive between 10 am and 12 pm. People attending the picnic and pig roast should arrive about 1 pm. This rain-or-shine event will last until about 4 pm. MOTORCYCLE “POKER RUN” RIDE: This noncompetitive, self-guided ride will take riders through approximately 75 miles of scenic Morris County, NJ, and may include adjacent areas of New Jersey. Riders will be given route directions at the event check-in. The “Poker Run” requires riders and passengers to make a total of five (5) stops during the route. The first four (4) stops will be along the route. The fifth (5th) stop will be at the Swim & Sport Club. At each of the scheduled stops, riders will select one (1) card from a deck of playing cards. After the 5th stop, the rider will have a total of five (5) cards, thus yielding a poker hand. An event host will keep track of the poker hands. Prizes for best poker hand will be given once all riders have returned to the Swim & Sport Club, but no later than 4 pm. Riders and passengers are required to provide their own motorcycles and safety gear; to have current registrations, inspections and driver’s licenses; and to obey all traffic and motor vehicle laws. We urge all motorcyclists to receive professional training before operating motorcycles and to always wear helmets and safety gear. PRIZES: A cash prize of $150 will be awarded for the Best Poker Hand and $50 for the Second Best Hand. T-SHIRTS & RIDE PINS: T-Shirts will be given to all adults who pre-register as riders, passengers or nonriders. This year’s t-shirt features art by a student of Morris Hills High School. Ride pins may be ordered in advance. At the event, t-shirts and ride pins will be available while supplies last – t-shirts $15; ride pins $5. MUSIC & ENTERTAINMENT for all to enjoy. EVERYONE IS WELCOME! Riders and non-riders alike are invited to the picnic and pig roast. Bring your friends, family and kids. Come check out the bikes and the booths!
