From 1995 to 2001, Fluency Media's management team developed integrated online business applications and marketing campaigns for multi-billion dollar companies in the travel and retail industries. During this period two services emerged as providing the most value as an outsourced solution. Digital Asset Management and Online Marketing Management. With the economic challenges of late 2001 it became clear that most small and mid-sized companies had an absolute mandate to reduce operational costs wherever possible, increase repeat business and lower new customer acquisition costs. All of these goals would be achieved by the solutions identified during the previous years' consulting and development engagements. Fluency Media was created to offer the Internet Archives (digital asset management and distribution) and Net Results (web marketing and loyalty programs). The Internet Archives is a hosted solution that generally costs clients no more than they would pay to have their assets hosted at an ISP. Because all of the management tools are designed for remote administration by non-technical staff, it empowers more people to communicate with others beyond their borders.
