Caroline Fluri, principal of Fluri Commercial Interior Design, has over twenty years of experience in the commercial interior design field. She has successfully designed, managed and completed a large variety of projects in the area of corporate offices, law firms, retail banks, hospitality and renovation. Caroline strives to get a complete understanding of the clients needs and how they function and will create a style and working environment that best suits their needs. Caroline will work closely with the clients and all team members and oversees all phases of the projects. Caroline believes that a designer cannot only consider image and style. We have a responsibility to promote good healthy working environments. Studies have shown that workers are bothered often by noise, inferior lighting, lack of control over air temperature, poor workspaces and ergonomics, as well as poor indoor health quality. We have learned about the fragility of our natural environment and about the positive/negative effects it can have on us. Technology has completely changed the way we live and work. We have a responsibility to design for the needs of our time and not simply re-create the old. The success of a project is not only dependent on the designers proper response to the clients current needs, but also on the ability of the workspace to change as business changes.
