Product Liability Lawyers When products are unreasonably dangerous and cause injury to a consumer or bystander, the manufacturer and seller must accept the responsibility for the harm. Products can range from tools, machinery, and cars to disease-causing agents such as medicine, drugs, cleaning solvents and the like. A product can be unreasonably dangerous by the manner in which it is manufactured, designed or marketed. The balance test to determine if a product is unreasonably dangerous is the possibility and severity of injury on one scale and the cost or effort necessary to avoid the dangerous condition on the other.
