Description
Friends of Riverbend Park (FORB) was started by past President Cathy Mayes and a few concerned citizens who wanted to assure that Riverbend Park's natural areas are cared for and that its wildlife is protected. FORB is incorporated as a 501(c) non-profit organization. It is a direct-action environmental group that employs volunteering in hands-on projects as a means of enhancing Riverbend Park, and supports an educational approach to promote a safer, friendlier and more environmentally sustainable quality of life.
