We are located 1-3/4 miles south of Lemmon, SD on Hwy 73. Ron has been the large animal veterinarian around Lemmon since 1967 and began raising grey and roan horses in 1972. He was raised on a ranch in Oklahoma. Our stud, Shambo Sam is a son of Blue Boy Quincy who goes back to Sir Quincy Dan. Shambo Sam is old breeding, Three Bars, Leo, Joe Reed, Bartender, and Hancock. He is a big grey stud with lots of muscle and lots of bone. He is kind and gentle and a pleasure to ride and work with. He stands 15.2 hands and weighs 1400lbs in using condition. His colts all have good color, great dispositions, big hind legs and beautiful heads and necks. Our mares are old time quarter horse breeding and are all big beautiful mares with lots of color and muscle. The mares are primarily Kelly Cody and Joe Quincy mares. The Joe Quincy mares are Three Bars, Joe Reed, Leo and Bartender. The Kelly Cody mares are Old Sorrel. We also have a AAA race winner by Dr Kirk out of an own daughter of Dash For Cash. Offspring of Dr. Kirk are noted for producing outstanding barrel horses. We also have a Driftwood and Hancock mare that goes back to Driftwood 5 times and Joe Hancock 3 times.
