Description

Forest Energy Corporation was founded in 1991, and is known nationwide as a leader in the wood pellets and biomass trade. Our mission is clear: to develop a sustainable, biomass thermal energy industry. We recover locally available biomass resources and convert them into competitive fuels, replacing fossil fuels and providing long-lasting benefits to local ecosystems. The result? Healthier forests, permanent jobs, self-sufficient communities, reduced landfill costs and cleaner air.

Gary Moore boasts more than 25 years of experience in manufacturing. As Director of Operations for Forest Energy Corporation, Gary is responsible for all aspects of the business operation, including the management of manufacturing, as well as overseeing all employees, budgets, production costs and OSHA compliance. Gary began with Forest Energy in 2004 as a project manager. In 2005, Gary was promoted to an Assistant Plant Manager, working with the production manager to maximize production and reduce downtime.

“Since the unfortunate fire at our pellet plant this past June, we’ve been working in cooperation with the Show Low fire department and city officials to develop a fire prevention plan. We have always been in compliance with all requests from the fire department and fire prevention standards, but unfortunately, it wasn’t’ enough” says Forest Energy Director of Operations, Gary Moore. As a part of this plan, Forest Energy purchased and placed two 4,500 gallon all terrain water trucks with high pressure water cannons on site.

Forest Energy Corporation’s Show Low plant manufactures wood pellets, densified wood logs, horse and small animal bedding, among other products.
