Forge Recording began operations in 1978 as a one-stop shop for radio show production. At that time the company's services included recording, reel-to-reel and audiocassette duplication, and distribution to radio stations nationally and internationally. As word spread about this all-inclusive recording experience, Forge began attracting a wider range of customers. Artists and producers no longer had to take their projects from one facility to another. Instead they could remain with Forge throughout the process to record, mix, master, graphically design, duplicate and distribute their works. This was not only convenient, but provided greater quality control. As the company grew, Forge Recording added new products and services to meet its customers' ever changing needs. Forge was the first studio in the Delaware Valley to implement digital recording and continues to be a pioneer in the industry. Most recently Forge added video recording, production and duplication services to compliment its CD and audiocassette capabilities.
