Formtech Enterprises, Incorporated began humbly in 1970, in a small, 5,000 square foot facility in Akron, Ohio. The company created custom plastic extrusions , including simple custom PVC moldings and profile extrusions that constantly pushed the limits of technology. While extruding these parts, Formtech kept one goal in mind: to completely satisfy the customers' needs. This strong commitment to customer service, coupled with extraordinary technical and processing expertise, has enabled Formtech to successfully become a true industry leader. Formtech is constantly breaking new ground by developing new competencies with materials and processes and delivering innovative, superior quality custom plastic extrusions to every customer. Through important acquisitions, Formtech has created a broad base of capabilities that have played a key role in molding Formtech’s reputation as a reliable, single-source provider in the plastic extrusion industry. The plants have mastered processes including producing multiple material extrusions , composite extrusions , clear plastics , and hollow extrusions , processing green building materials , finishing products with plastic embossing & plastic texturing , sonic & thermal welding , plastic fabrication , plastic color matching , and much more. Formtech's corporate offices and manufacturing plant in Stow, Ohio (near Akron, OH) offer a centralized location with primary distribution channels throughout the midwest and northeast.
