The F oster P arents A ssociation of W ashington S tate (FPAWS) is a non-profit corporation chartered in 1973 providing support and services to foster families throughout the State of Washington. Our Association has evolved over the years to develop direct support for adoptive , foster and kinship parents as well as initiating legislative action for the betterment of foster and adoptive families.

The LCFPA, a non-profit, 501(c)3 organization, has served Lewis Co. Foster Parents and the children living in their homes for over 10 years. The LCFPA Outreach Center holds the Clothing Outlet, a fully stocked, free of charge, clothing bank where all sizes of clothing, shoes, undergarment, diapers, etc. are offered to fostering families year round. In addition, the LCFPA offers the following: scholarships for trainings for Foster Parents; camp/mission trip scholarships to hundreds of children; household goods to children aging out of the system and a multitude of crafting supplies.

Capital Kids Connection (CKC) of Cowlitz County's mission is to support licensed foster homes in Cowlitz County. The support that we provide allows foster families to network for the benefit of gaining resources and knowledge from other families. We offer fun events for foster families to enjoy such at Harvest and Christmas parties.
