Insurer may select one coverage level of insurance per crop type in the county; coverage levels are 70, 75, 80, 85, or 90 percent. Insurer than selects a productivity factor which is a percent a producer selects that allows him/her to individualize coverage “valuing” his/her crop. The productivity factor allows a producer to increase the protection per acre on that producer’s insured hayland or grazing. Factors can be between 60 and 150 percent, 1% increments.
