Description

She has worked with many new and mature franchisors both domestically and internationally as well. Having been cross-trained in many areas in franchising, she saw the huge disparities on an educational level from one sector of a franchise system to another. She saw five different sectors working independently from each other instead of together. Karen has proved through out her career that there is liability and profit loss within a broken system. Therefore, her mission was clear and FranSystems was born. Spencer has written and published more than 100 franchise educational articles and programs and is currently on the Board of Trustees for the Educational Foundation with the International Franchise Association. She also serves as an Ambassador to Franchising for the IFA. Through the Small Business Association, she volunteers her time to conduct free classes on purchasing franchises, teaches franchising at many universities and has been an industry speaker for more than 10 years.
