Description
Dr. Meharg is a graduate of LeMoyne College and received his DDS degree from Georgetown University School of Dentistry. Following 12 years as a general dentist, he completed his 2 years post-doctoral work at Fort Knox, KY and the University of Louisville recieving his Certificate in Orthodontics and Master's Degree in Oral Biology. In 1994 he completed the requirements for certification by the American Board of Orthodontics. The board certification process, which is voluntary, is an extensive review of an orthodontist's basic education and an intensive assessment of their clinical expertise. Certification as a Diplomate signifies a unique achievement. As of March 2007, there are approximately 2000 orthodontists throughout the world who are Diplomates. He continues to pursue continuing education programs to update the techniques, skills, and knowledge that will help him best serve you over the course of your orthodontic treatment.
