This jazz legend is still swingin' at age 95! In fact, according to Scott Yanow, jazz historian, there are only 14 musicians and singers left who recorded before 1940 and who are still at least partly active (there is no one left from the 20's). Some of those on that short list include Svend Asmussen, Lena Horne, Franz Jackson, Les Paul, Kay Starr, and Snooky Young. Franz goes back as far as anyone, having first recorded in 1931.
