Frasier continues to provide for our retirement community through the generosity of residents, family members, staff and the greater Boulder, Colorado, community. Our legacy of giving began when Frasier was founded in 1958 by the Rocky Mountain Conference of the United Methodist Church on 20 acres of land donated by Mr. and Mrs. Elmer Frasier in 1955.

John has lived off and on in Colorado for over 24 years and resides in Broomfield with his wife Deea and their two children Dallas Ann and Charles Lewis. In his leisure time, John enjoys spending time with his family, running, skiing, fly fishing and participating in water sports.

The Health Care Center is dedicated to creating a warm, inviting atmosphere. Our residents live in close-knit “houses” designed to create a strong sense of community. Each house includes private and shared rooms, in addition to a communal dining and living area where residents can socialize and participate in specialized activities. Residents are also encouraged to decorate their living space with personal belongings and furniture to add to the homelike feeling of each house.

Linda has held positions at St. Luke’s Hospital in Jacksonville, FL, a Mayo Clinic-affiliated hospital, and at two community hospitals in southern Maryland. She is currently implementing a hospital-wide electronic medical records system at Boulder Community Hospital, introducing new wireless technology, establishing remote access to electronic medical records for physicians, and providing technology leadership for an $82 million construction project. Linda has over 20 years of experience in healthcare information technology.

All of our staff is experienced in working with elders experiencing changing cognitive abilities. For those residents whose dementia includes wandering, a pronounced need for cognitively appropriate programming or other behavioral issues, we offer a 14-bed secure unit and a 13-bed wander-guarded unit that specialize in dementia care.
