Mr. Clark has extensive experience in the appraisal of office/warehouse and industrial properties, apartments, mobile home parks, convenience stores, automobile dealerships, motels, car wash facilities, office buildings, retail buildings, vacant land, estates, eminent domain, and partial takings. In addition, Mr. Clark has experience in performing appraisal for complex and challenging assignments, as well as expert witness experience in both Third Judicial C and Second District Courts. He is licensed in Utah, Idaho and Wyoming.

Free and Associates, Inc. began providing appraisal services in 1976. In 1993, to better serve clients, Free and Associates, Inc. expanded by opening an office in Utah County. In 2006, we expanded further by opening an office in St. George. We employ a staff of 30 including appraisers and support staff. Based on our staff size and extensive experience, Free and Associates, Inc. is able to provide quality appraisal and consultation services for virtually all aspects of the real estate economy.

Free and Associates has a staff of appraisers who specialize in eminent domain appraising. We have extensive experience providing appraisal services for condemning agencies, and for individuals, in Utah, Colorado, Idaho, Nevada & Wyoming. We are proud to have multiple appraisers who are members of I.R.W.A. (International Right of Way Association) and the Appraisal Institute.

We have performed and are currently licensed to do appraisal assignments in much of the western region, including Utah, Wyoming, Nevada & Idaho. In addition to our own extensive database of information, we work in cooperation with several other real estate appraisal firms throughout the region in the sharing of comparable sales and other market data. Currently three members of our commercial appraisal staff hold the MAI designation, two members of the residential appraisal staff hold the SRA designation, and one holds the CRP designation.

Our specialized appraiser force and ability to perform complex appraisal assignments, combined with courtroom testimony experience, contributes to our reputation as one of the leading providers of eminent domain appraisal work in the Intermountain area.
