Description

Our headquarters and production facility is located in Machesney Park, IL. Our state-of-the-art production facility extends our capabilities, enabling us to deliver Free Flow products nationwide. Our bulk production capability allows us to produce and store 300 tons of finished product for shipment via pneumatic tankers or bulk dump trucks.

Free Flow has been distributing treatment reagents to the foundry industry for 15 years and has overwhelming success in treating RCRA metals in all type of casting facilities. Free Flow has the ability with its high tech production plant to tailor a blend to meet the clients need and minimize the cost of the blend and the dosage rate. We are able to meet specific needs and not sell a standard blend to meet all needs. What works for one facility may be an overdose by a high percentage at another facility.

An industrial facility located in Illinois manufactures steel containers for use in the food and chemical industries. Solvents used in the manufacturing process for covering and finishing the containers were stored in an outside drum storage area and in six 4,000-gallon underground storage tanks located adjacent to the building. The underground storage tanks were removed and the outside drum storage was closed.

Free Flow can provide the full range of services required to develop and implement any remedial action program (RCRA, CERCLA, LUST, TSCA, SRP/VAP, Brownfields), from conducting the environmental impact study through to design, construction and operations assistance.

A brass foundry operation located in Illinois manufactures brass and bronze castings for use in the plumbing industry, irrigation/sprinkler industry and other specialized industries. In the course of the casting manufacturing process excess/unusable sand is generated from the facility. Some of this sand was temporarily stored on a concrete pad outside the facility prior to treatment and disposal. During a routine inspection by the Illinois Environmental Protection Agency (IEPA) the inspector noted a small amount of sand on the concrete pad and collected a sample for laboratory analysis.
